3-Dahi Kabob
It said the first time man tasted dahi kebabs he called them kabob and that’s how it became a great delicacy in Pakistan. The name comes from the fact that during ancient times men used to cook beef and lamb together and add onions and spices to their meal. To add flavor to these meals, we use mustard seeds, lemons, cucumbers, and cilantro. Nowadays, the food is often prepared a bit differently due to the increasing popularity. What once seemed quite ordinary is now an exquisite experience.
Before going to bed, before having a nice glass of tea, I am fond of spending some minutes smelling the aroma of dahi. When walking out back, when I sit next to the lake, I always prepare myself for my evening walk and the sound of birds chirping nearby. Once I reach the edge of forest and smell the fresh air, my senses feel revitalized. With dahi (which has recently came to Pakistan), this experience is even better. People go crazy eating this amazing meal. Some people prefer to take it with salad instead of bread. But this meal still maintains its simplicity and taste.
4-Balochi Chicken Kabab
I have never heard someone say they were ever sick from this dish. However, I am sure everyone who tries this dish has felt something delicious and delicious when eating the Balochi chicken kabab. It goes without saying that this special dish is full of taste and flavor, thanks to minced spices, fresh vegetables, aromatic oils, and tender meat. The main ingredient in this dish is lamb meat. lthough I did mention another option where the lamb might flavored with other spices, such as curry powder, cumin, chili powder, etc., these options will only increase the flavor of the soup.

Biryani is a wonderful Indian staple food and a highly appreciated part of every Muslim household. For me, nothing beats the authentic biryani you find in almost every city I visit. There is no denying that, apart from the obvious goodness of this meal, its easy preparation, the fact that the biryani sauce only a few teaspoons and it needs to stirred, and the fact that almost everyone knows how to make the best biryani sauce. And so do I. This recipe is easy to follow as it only requires a few essential items, such as eggs, rice, milk, potatoes, onions, wheat germ, saffron, turmeric, chaat masala powder, black pepper, cumin, curry powder, black pepper powder, salt, yogurt, ginger root. It is truly a treat and makes a spectacular breakfast dish. This dish should be the focus of any kitchen!
6-Halwa Chapli
Halwa chapli is one of my favorite Sindhi food. Actually, the term halwa, in itself means “spicy.” So it is not surprising that the flavor of this dish is so bright and strong. Halwa chapli is spicy-sweet, very hot, and very thick. Therefore, the chefs have to put several kinds of fruits in order to achieve a balanced taste. Halwa chapli prepared with semolina (a flat grain), butter, cream, honey, lard, and some ground nuts. Then, a fragrant aroma fills the shop. From what I see on social media and Instagram posts, it seems that anyone could easily create the same recipe. Also, when baking or making sweets, don’t forget to add your own signature. Make sure everything is as tasty and delicious as your heart desires.
7-Bhut Jolokia
Bhut jolokia is one of the famous and delicious street food dishes of Punjab. Actually, it is not only a street food for Punjab but iconsidered one of the oldest cuisines in India. Bhut Jolokia known as khichdi or roti, and it is a beautiful and soft spiced food that one could eat without much difficulty. To prepare this dish, I recommend using a good quality of roti. You can use whole wheat roti as it is healthier. Or, roti can also made of mung bean and/or chickpea flour which helps in making it light and moist. Other than the texture, the color and taste of this dish are also outstanding.
8-Paani Shakshuka
Another Pakistani traditional dish, paani Shakshuka is a delicious lentil relish consisting of lentils mixed with peas (sooji). It consists of a mixture of various spices, mainly cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, sesame seed, turmeric, coriander, parsley, coconut flakes, and cumin. Of course, this dish could include many other elements as well. We tend to use sooji which is lentil based. That way, we maintain both the flavor and nutrition and minimize the amount of fats when making our dish. Even though the dish has been around since centuries ago, this recipe is easy to prepare and perfect for beginners too.
